The Greythorn Salary Index (GSI) is an annual report which monitors remuneration trends in the technology sector. The Salary Index is compiled based on data collected internally from our day-to-day placement activities, surveys amongst recruitment consultants and interaction with candidates and clients. Monthly updates are conducted to ensure the Index is reflective of the volatile and fast moving technology sector.
Rates are collated and presented as ‘averages’. These averages are further arranged according to seniority and years of experience as follows: Junior (0-2 years), Intermediate (2-4 years) and Senior (4+ years). Since remuneration tends to vary widely across industries, sectors and geographies, a salary range for each position has been provided.
Total salary package offered differ widely according to the nature of the role, the industry, and the HR policies of individual companies. All figures quoted in the Index are therefore ‘base salaries’ and do not include bonuses, share options or other benefits.
